She is entrusted with a job to crack the secrets behind mysterious serial killings followed by a collecting of body organs. The killer always leaves a rose at the crime scene as the proof of his identity. Meanwhile, a cop (Abbas) is also bestowed with the responsibility to solve the mystery. The rest of the story is all about how Anasuya chases the serial killer and unravels the mystery behind his killings.

Artists Performance. Bhumika Chawla is perfect in the role of Anasuya. A character like Anasuya needs an able actress like Bhumika Chawla who has got command over histrionics. She did a good job with subtle and terse expression. Abbas is alright for the role in male lead. Ravi Babu looks deadly and he shaved off his eyebrows to look ghastly. Ankita did a miniscule role and Nikhita did a vital role. Harsha and Sameer did well among the others.

Bhumika Chawla set to make her Malayalam debut

Earlier attempts by Mollywood to rope in the heroine with elfin charm had failed to yield the desired results.

But now it is confirmed. The news is that Bollywood beauty Bhumika Chawla will make her maiden appearance in Malayalam, too.

Bhooms is already very popular in Telugu cinema and Tamil film world, according to the grapevine.

Bhumy played a delightful cameo in the Tamil film with Surya in the male lead, ‘Jillendru Oru Kathal’ and won critical acclaim for her dignified performance.

Now, her debut vehicle in Mollywood is the Malayalam version of the Telugu superhit, ‘Anasuya’.

‘Anasuya’ is a suspense thriller scripted and directed by Telugu hero Ravi Babu. The story is said to draw inspiration from the Hollywood flick, ‘The Silence Of The Lambs’.

In the movie, Bhumy plays a TV channel reporter who is out to resolve the mystery behind a series of murders.

The film is expected to hit the theatres in Kerala by the end of April, says the reports from Mollywood.
